House Policy and Conditions

At Hof van de Waterloop, your dog’s well-being is always our top priority. To ensure that every visit to our grooming salon runs smoothly and pleasantly, we kindly ask you to consider the following house rules and conditions:

Making Appointments

Appointments can only be made by phone or through the contact form. If you fill out the contact form, we will call you. During this call, we will gather information about your dog, such as health, behavior, and coat condition.

Dog's Well-Being

The well-being of the dog is our highest priority. We ensure that every treatment takes place in a safe and stress-free environment.

Remaining Present

It is allowed to be present during your dog’s treatment, provided this has been agreed upon in advance.

Preparing the Dog

Ensure that your dog has been walked before the appointment.
Bring your dog to the appointment on an empty stomach to prevent nausea.
Always bring your dog in on a leash for the safety of all animals and people present.

Arriving on Time and Pick-Up

Arrive on time for your appointment and pick up your dog no later than 15 minutes after the agreed end time. This is important for the well-being of every dog in the salon. After 15 minutes, an additional €10 will be charged for each started 30-minute period.

Cancellation, Lateness, and No-Show Policy

Cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.
For cancellations less than 24 hours before the appointment, 50% of the reserved time will be charged.
In the case of a no-show, 100% of the reserved time will be charged. After two no-shows, it will unfortunately no longer be possible to make a new appointment.
In case of lateness (more than 20 minutes after the scheduled time), the appointment will be canceled, whether you informed us or not. This is because we can no longer provide a quality treatment. In case of cancellation due to lateness, 100% of the reserved time will be charged.
